Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to businesses subscribing to LoyaltyTap and to customers using a LoyaltyTap loyalty card.
Last updated 3 September 2026
The service
LoyaltyTap provides NFC and QR-based digital loyalty cards, stamping, rewards, customer notifications and a business dashboard. Features described as “coming soon” are not part of the current subscription and may change.
Subscription and trial
- One plan: €29.99 per month plus any applicable VAT.
- You can create an account and set up your loyalty programme without subscribing.
- The 14-day free trial starts when you complete subscription checkout, not at signup.
- Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from the billing section of your dashboard. Access continues until the end of the paid period. We do not pro-rate partial months.
Your responsibilities as a business
- Honour the rewards you advertise on your loyalty card.
- Keep staff accounts accurate and remove members who leave.
- Only send notifications relevant to your own loyalty programme.
- Comply with applicable consumer and data protection law for your customers.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to issue stamps fraudulently, share NFC device tokens publicly, probe or bypass access controls, or use LoyaltyTap to message people who have not opted in. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or its customers.
NFC hardware
NFC tags and devices are registered by the business in its dashboard. Tokens can be rotated at any time, and a lost or stolen tag should be deactivated immediately. Stamps issued before deactivation remain valid.
Availability and liability
We work to keep LoyaltyTap available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the subscription fees paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for the value of rewards a business chooses to offer.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product develops. Material changes will be communicated to subscribed businesses by email before they take effect.
